Delete your JobRats account

You can delete your JobRats account anytime, from the website or from the app. You don't need the app to do it.

From your account (one step)

1. Go to jobrats.com/cuenta with your email (we send you a link or a code).
2. Scroll down to «Delete my account» and confirm.
3. You get an email letting you know it was deleted.

If you have a plan, it is canceled in the same step and there are no more charges.

Without signing in

Write to hola@jobrats.com from your account's email and ask us to delete it. We do it within 15 business days and let you know.

What is deleted

• Your profile and search preferences, your jobs and applications, the companies you follow, the rat's queue and history.
• Your help chat conversations, your reviews and the phones with alerts.
• The Chrome extension connection.

What is kept and for how long

• Your payment records, without your name or email: 6 years, because Chilean tax law requires it.
• An encrypted fingerprint of your email (not the email), so we don't give another free trial if you come back: while JobRats exists.
• Database backups renew on their own: what you delete disappears from them within 30 days.

Delete only some data

You don't need to delete your account to delete part of your data:

• Jobs you added by hand you delete yourself with «Delete this job»; the rest you can dismiss.
• Your CV is not kept: it is read to fill in your profile and then discarded.
• To delete any other data (for example, your help chat conversations or your history), write to hola@jobrats.com from your account's email saying what you want deleted. We do it within 15 business days.
